Sally has spent much of her career working in the Prison Service as a Governor, working with vulnerable and challenging offenders. This has driven her lifelong professional interest in mental health.
The birth of her youngest child in 2012 triggered some health issues which conventional medicine failed to explain or resolve. Her quest for good health and frustration with the limitations and side effects of conventional medicine led her down the path of complementary therapy and dietary changes. She believes that there is a place for all treatments, both conventional and complementary. For her, adding reflexology into her own treatment plan made the difference between scraping through and living vibrantly.
Sally is passionate about wellbeing issues, holistic and functional health, and follows the exciting research that is coming out of the growing functional medicine arena. Her particular areas of interest include epigenetics and how the gut microbiome influences overall health. An interest in aesthetics and her love and passion for reflexology led her to train in the Zone Face Lift programme so that she can now bring both wellbeing and ageing beautifully to her clients.
Sally trained at the prestigious Surrey School of Reflexology and later under Ziggie Bergman in London. She is a member of the Association of Reflexologists (AOR) and is fully insured to practice. She adheres to the strict code of practice laid down by the AOR which includes continued professional development.
